A Private Site

What is it about?

It's a private collection and some kind of survey of grammar topics, vocabulary and idiomatic expressions which are either:

  • particular within each of the five languages,

or present some kind of

  • similarities of grammar issues and vocabulary (e.g. "False Friends") within those five languages.

The latter often cause confusions, which are sometimes annoying, sometimes just amusing and in any case avoidable.

Whom is this page made for?

Well, first and foremost I created it for myself!

 

Why?

 

Because by tracking and depositing all the languages' stuff in here, I can learn and refresh my own languages' knowledge.

 

Furthermore I've got a central point from all over the world to get access to that languages' collection.

Secondly I want to make available this collection also to other polyglot people, especially to the members of our Languages' Community "Internationaler SprachStammtisch München", which is a private initiative I founded in 2006 in Munich, Germany.

 

Since then I have been organizing regular international meet-ups for each of the five languages: English, Español, Deutsch, Italiano, Français.
